No. DriverProtect and FuelProtect are built to protect a vehicle while it is parked with the engine off, running on their own power and a 4G connection rather than depending on the vehicle running or a nearby power source. If you have an unusual setup or a specialist vehicle, it is worth confirming the detail with TrafficAngel directly.

How does the system tell the difference between a real threat and wind, wildlife or a passer-by?

The cameras are trained to recognise human movement specifically, rather than triggering on any motion in the frame. That is what separates them from a basic motion-sensor camera, which trips on a fox crossing the yard or a bin blowing over just as readily as it does on a person, and it is a big part of why false alarms are rare.

Is the footage good enough to use for an insurance claim or a police report?
