Digital Thumbs Up for plant machinery is a pedestrian-facing safety signal that we supply as part of our Protector Vegetal 360 setup. It puts a clear visual cue on the outside of the machine so a pedestrian, banksman or ground worker can tell at a glance whether to wait, or whether the operator has confirmed it is safe to come forward. What Digital Thumbs Up Does
The system consist of a round display fitted to the outside of the machine, in a position a pedestrian can see. By default it shows a red stop. When the operator has stopped, and immobilize the vehicle completely, checked the area and judged that it is safe, they press a single button inside the cab and the display changes to a green thumbs up. The pedestrian gets a plain, familiar signal. Red means hold back. Green means the operator has seen you and it is safe to approach. There is nothing for the person on the ground to interpret, and nothing complicated for the operator to do. Run as part of PlantShield 360, AI cameras watch the area around the machine and pick up human forms inside the zones set for that vehicle. The operator gets a clear visual, and where needed audible, alert in the cab. The external display then lets them turn that awareness into a signal the pedestrian can actually read.
How Digital Thumbs Up Works In Practice

The operator runs their normal pre-move checks, using the mirrors and any sensors fitted to the machine.
