- An automatic power-down feature that disables the PSS system once the vehicle reaches 20mph, preventing driver distraction while on the move.
- A Suzie1 Coil connection system on larger Volvo FH models, allowing a seamless camera link between truck and trailer units to maintain continuous visibility.
Overcoming Left-Hand Drive Compliance Challenges
Two of Heathrow Environmental’s vehicles were left-hand-drive concrete pumps, presenting a unique challenge for London compliance. Because blind spots are located on the opposite side compared to standard UK right-hand-drive vehicles, TrafficAngel adapted the vehicle camera system layout accordingly. Using specialist equipment designed for foreign vehicles operating on UK roads, we ensured that these left-hand-drive units met all Standard Direct Vision requirements without compromising safety or functionality.
