TfL has made Syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 progressifs<\/a><\/strong> mandatory to reduce rising road accidents involving vulnerable road users. Many drivers feel it\u2019s long overdue, as erratic cyclist and pedestrian behaviour adds to driver anxiety\u2014distracted commuters glued to phones, speeding cyclists darting through traffic, inexperienced e-bike riders learning on busy streets, and reckless scooterists weaving between vehicles. These risky habits have led to too many serious injuries and fatalities, prompting TfL\u2019s push for Progressive Safe Systems to make roads safer for everyone.<\/p>

Because, despite all the politicking, there\u2019ll only ever be one loser in the London chicken run. A truck will always be a truck, and a vulnerable road user will always be vulnerable. And HGV drivers, as erratic humans have their failings too, hence the TfL<\/a> push to have technology help reduce these often fatal encounters. And so it\u2019s great to report that in the midst of all of this risk and driver stress, the TrafficAngel Progressive Safe System is already proving its worth around town, averting injury and even saving lives!<\/p><\/div><\/div>

En guise d'exemple pratique de devoirs PSS, j'ai contact\u00e9 un fournisseur PSS de Facebook et demand\u00e9 des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences (parce que nous installerons \u00e9galement d'autres kits s'ils r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 la norme), pour me faire dire, \u00ab Nous ne pouvons pas faire cela \u00e0 cause du RGPD. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>

Insatisfait d'une telle r\u00e9ponse, j'ai t\u00e9l\u00e9phon\u00e9 \u00e0 un transporteur annonc\u00e9 comme \u00ab un autre client satisfait \u00bb qui m'a dit franchement que son PSS ne fonctionnait pas, que les installateurs avaient perc\u00e9 des trous dans la carrosserie laissant entrer de l'eau et court-circuitant le processeur du v\u00e9hicule, que l'entreprise n'\u00e9tait toujours pas revenue pour r\u00e9gler les probl\u00e8mes, laissant le \u00ab client satisfait \u00bb annonc\u00e9 insatisfait et gravement d\u00e9muni.<\/p>

Of course, no installation company is perfect, but let the above simple illustration serve as a reminder that you peut<\/em> investigate further, and that you actually need to because the PSS market is awash now with the second-rate. Once again, insist on a trial, and absolutely insist on speaking to satisfied customers before you buy. If their kit is good, then customers should be happy to spread the good news.<\/p>
