It\u2019s simple&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4><p>In a nutshell, by February 2021, it will be an offence for any truck over 12 tonnes to enter London without an HGV Direct Vision Standard Safety Permit. The amount of direct vision (unaided by any technology) from these vehicles will be star-rated from 0-5. The star rating is set according to how much the driver can see both forwards and downwards from his seated position in the cab, as well as what vision he has in the traditional HGV nearside blindspots. This star rating has been arrived at via TfL, vehicle manufacturers, Loughborough University and associated regulatory bodies.<\/p><p>If you are entering London with a vehicle from abroad, the same ruling applies. Here is the <a href=\"https:\/\/tfl.gov.uk\/info-for\/deliveries-in-london\/delivering-safely\/direct-vision-in-heavy-goods-vehicles\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/tfl.gov.uk\/info-for\/deliveries-in-london\/delivering-safely\/direct-vision-in-heavy-goods-vehicles\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TfL\/DVS regulatory page for European drivers<\/a><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Left-hand drive vehicles\u00a0<\/h2><p>Los veh\u00edculos con volante a la izquierda deber\u00e1n contar con el mismo equipamiento que los veh\u00edculos con volante a la derecha. veh\u00edculo ser\u00e1 reconocido por ANPR (reconocimiento autom\u00e1tico de matr\u00edculas) y&nbsp;<strong>Se emitir\u00e1n cargos por penalizaci\u00f3n al operador.<\/strong>, y al conductor cuando se considere apropiado.<\/p><p>El equipo propuesto necesario para satisfacer cualquier d\u00e9ficit del Est\u00e1ndar de Visi\u00f3n Directa incluye sensores de punto ciego del lado cercano,
