Velox Trans Europe<\/a> has been operating since 1999 and has evolved into a leading specialist in Road Feeder Services (RFS). Based in the Czech Republic, Velox delivers transport across Europe and into the United Kingdom, moving final-destination cargo by road and significantly reducing reliance on air freight. Their mission contributes not only to efficient cargo movement, but also to lowering environmental impact by reducing the need for plane cargo transportation.<\/p>

To support their cross-continent fleet, Velox partnered with us to improve visibility, road safety, and compliance in busy cities, particularly London. TrafficAngel had previously supplied Velox Trans Europe with the first round of the Direct Vision Standard (DVS)<\/a> technology in 2021. As the latest regulations came into effect, most of the recent work consisted of PSS (Progressive Safe System)<\/a> upgrades, ensuring the fleet remained compliant and fully protected.<\/p>

During this upgrade phase, several vehicles also received monitor updates as part of the system improvement programme. We upgraded the \u043c\u043e\u043d\u0438\u0442\u043e\u0440\u0438<\/a> with HD versions to ensure full compatibility with the latest PSS technology, enhanced visual clarity, and consistent performance across the Velox Trans Europe fleet.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

High-Definition Imaging & AI Camera Capability <\/strong><\/h2>

As part of the upgrade programme, Velox Trans Europe\u2019s vehicles were fitted with high-definition PSS cameras<\/a>, ensuring exceptional clarity and driver visibility in all operating environments. The enhanced 1080p resolution allows clear split-screen views on the in-cab monitor,<\/a> giving drivers a comprehensive visual of blind spots and surrounding hazards. This upgrade significantly improves safety and driver confidence when operating in tight loading zones, airport environments, and congested city streets.<\/p>

In addition, our PSS comprises AI camera technology, supporting intelligent detection of vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. This capability helps alert drivers to movement around the vehicle, improving awareness and reducing the risk of incidents in high-traffic areas. With these enhancements, Velox has strengthened its safety standards and further supported its commitment to protecting both drivers and the public while operating across Europe and the UK.<\/p>

Left-Hand Drive Fleet Adaptation for Velox Trans Europe<\/strong><\/h2>

Because Velox operates left-hand-drive vehicles across its network, we adapted elements of the fitting process to suit the fleet design.<\/p>

Custom solutions were created, including specially manufactured LED displays and modified main display positioning to ensure optimal driver visibility and system accessibility.<\/p>\n\n

The main display was also configured to offer alternative language options, an important feature given the international makeup of the Velox’s driver team. This multilingual capability supports operators from across Europe and helps maintain consistent use and safety compliance on the road.<\/p><\/div>

Vehicle Integration & Discreet Installation<\/strong><\/h2>

The fleet consists primarily of Renault trucks, with a smaller group of Scania vehicles. On the Renault models, TrafficAngel engineers discreetly mounted cameras on the factory-black trim of the bumpers and above the bonnets. Where previous equipment had occupied standard mounting positions, alternative installation solutions were used to maintain optimal camera angles and safety performance.<\/p>

The result is a clean, professional aesthetic with minimal disruption to vehicle appearance, a detail that reflects Velox Trans Europe\u2019s commitment to high fleet presentation standards.<\/p>
